A Word From Jason & Ros
What Marriage Built on Covenant Looks Like
As of August 6th, we’re happy to express the joy of being married for 32 years and the privilege of having known each other for 38. Yet, through all the ups, downs, joys, sorrows, trials, and triumphs, we recognize that it was only God Himself who kept and sustained us. Even when we didn’t acknowledge Him or recognize His hand, His steady and sure presence in our lives has continued to confirm His amazing grace and unconditional love for us.
What He’s done in and through our marriage, He can do the same for yours or yours to come. Only believe and trust in Him regardless of the circumstances and situations that come your way. You and your loved one have an amazing opportunity each day to stand TOGETHER on God’s promises in faith and watch Him bring them to pass.
Over the past 32 years, life has definitely gotten busier, but somewhere between the kids, work, various obligations, and our good intentions, our first 29 years had quietly moved to the back burner! Yet once we realized we were doing marriage on autopilot, we repented, reopened the lines of communication, and recommitted to loving each other with full intention and in accordance with God’s marriage design.
Be encouraged in this:
God didn’t design your marriage to run on autopilot but to thrive. Doing marriage His way means acknowledging that it is built on covenant and a firm foundation. Only then will you see opposition and obstacles as new chances to develop deeper connections, passion, healing, and restoration in your marriage. Great news is… we’re here to help; learn how!
Are you both willing to face and work through the issues together and fight for your marriage? We pray your answer is “Yes!” Stay inspired and keep loving one another. 💌 John 13:34

The 3 C’s Of A Marriage Check-Up

In our coaching sessions, we see the same pattern over and over. Couples wait until something is broken before they reach out for help. But the healthiest marriages seem to be the ones that continuously check in on each other before issues arise. In every marriage, problems will come; it’s a part of life and love.
We believe communication in marriage is one of the most vital keys to a healthy and fulfilled relationship. However, checking in with each other and maintaining a pulse on your marriage status is how you confirm its health. Hence, we want to share our Three C’s of a Marriage Check-Up.
Conversations.
When was the last time you and your spouse had a real conversation?
We’re not referring to conversations about finances, kids, or schedules, but about how each of you is actually doing. Setting aside time each week to check in, just the two of you, is extremely important. Ask each other: ‘How are we doing…really (spiritually, mentally, physically, socially, financially)? Then, as each spouse shares their perspective, carefully and attentively listen to each other’s answers.
Holding regular conversations helps you get a pulse on each other and the direction of your marriage. It also helps you discuss solutions, make plans, and set goals to strengthen your marriage.
Confidants.
Every couple needs someone in their corner who will tell them the truth. Consider your confidants as a mentor couple, your pastor, or a trusted friend who knows both of you and loves your marriage enough to be honest. If you don’t have one or two of these people in your life, consider praying about it asap.
Coaching or Counseling.
There is nothing weak about getting an outside perspective on your marriage, as long as both of you seek help together. In fact, the strongest marriages we know are the ones that invest in themselves before issues become critical. Whether it’s a couples coaching session, a marriage conference, or a weekend away to reconnect, make the investment. Your marriage is worth it.

Why We’re Doing This…
Every once in a while, we receive a message that stops us in our tracks. It reminds us exactly why we answered God’s call. This one came from a husband who submitted feedback about his marriage-coaching experience. And with his permission, we’re able to share a piece of his testimony:
“I reached a breaking point (in my marriage); I knew God had not given me the green light to call it quits, so I wanted to try counseling. And knowing Jason and Ros, it just seemed to me like divine timing. And post counseling it proved to be… (The one-on-one solo sessions provided breakthrough for my wife and me) The moment for me was identifying “Pride” in my actions and response or lack of response.
I felt like I was doing all the right things, “Checking all the boxes,” and found in the Father’s eyes I was way off! It was very humbling, but a big breakthrough in bringing us closer together. (During the man-to-man and woman-to-woman solo sessions with Jason and Ros)…defenses are down and you can just be honest with yourself, and take that honesty back to a more receptive spouse who hopefully has had a similar solo experience.”

Feedback like this continues to confirm God’s purpose for our marriage. It also renew our passion for helping couples sort through the hard stuff! Marriage coaching has become an effective and viable service designed to help spouses work through issues together. Ultimately, they see themselves better, see each other, and understand their marriage from God’s perspective.
Our Why!
What is our WHY behind marriage coaching? Simple! The more we dive into this ministry call, the more we see people hurting from broken relationships, marriages, and families. And our hearts go out to them. We believe every marriage has an opportunity to experience growth, greater connection, deeper understanding, and meaningful transformation, even in the most difficult seasons. And most times, transformation begins when both parties decide to look inward, lay down their defenses, commit to doing the work, and allow God to reveal what needs to change within.
That’s why we aim to create a safe, faith-centered marriage-coaching environment where couples can have honest, open, and transparent (H.O.T.) conversations, gain new perspectives, and take meaningful steps toward restoration and growth. Our ultimate goal isn’t just to help marriages survive, but thrive by discovering what it truly means to love one another God’s way!
Your Love Letter Challenge for the month:
Schedule a 30-minute marriage check-up with your spouse this month. Put it on the calendar like an appointment, because it is one. Ask each other: ‘How are we doing?’, and ‘What’s one thing we can do better together this month?’ Then, await each other’s responses and talk things through.
On the other hand, if you learn that your marriage isn’t as healthy as you’d like it to be, take the first step and get a free check up!
“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.”
