The Truth, Test, and Triumph of Loving One Another Through Difficulties
“Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.”

Here’s the TRUTH. No one enjoys walking through a difficult season, especially the kind that forces real change in a marriage. In fact, when difficulties arise, it doesn’t necessarily mean something’s gone wrong in your marriage. Sometimes, it means a new opportunity has arrived that will challenge you both to grow, adapt, and discover how strong your marriage can become!
Here’s the TEST. The word that matters most in that truth is “through.” Your marriage was never meant to camp out in the hard seasons. Instead, you were meant to walk through them together until you reach the other side.
And here’s the TRIUMPH. Nothing is too hard for our loving and powerful God! That means what feels impossible right now, or in any difficult season, isn’t too much for the One who’s with you, for you, and already prepared to see you through it.
It’s God’s unconditional love, poured into us first, that makes it possible to keep loving each other when changes and seasons become intense. When we know how enduring His love for us really is, loving one another through change stops feeling optional and starts feeling possible.
So stay hopeful, keep walking in step with each other, persevere by faith, maintain peace, and let Him guide where your feet should land next!

- Do we have enough faith in God, and in each other, to believe we can get through this?
A Prayer For Your Marriage:
Father, thank You for a love that never gives up on us, even when we’re tempted to give up on each other. We confess it’s hard to stay hopeful in the middle of a hard season. Remind us that You are with us, for us, and greater than anything we’re facing. Teach us to walk through this together, not around it, until we reach the other side. In Jesus’ name we pray… Amen.
